The information we collect

Through the contact form: your name, phone number, email, your city or area if you provide it, the type of problem and your description of it. The request also shows whether it was sent from the French or English website. Nothing else.

Through your browsing: nothing. The website uses no audience measurement or advertising tools.

Like any website, the host's server records technical data (IP address, page requested, date and time, browser type) to keep the website secure and working properly. We do not use it to identify you.

What we do with it

We use your information only to call you back, prepare a quote and plan the service call. We do not sell, rent or trade your information.

Who else has access

For the website to work, a single provider processes information on our behalf, only for these purposes:

• the website's host, which also provides the mailbox where SL Extermination receives requests: its server receives your request and immediately sends it to that mailbox. The website keeps no copy of your request. The host only receives a follow-up notice, without your name or contact details (the date, the website language, the type of problem and the city), used for the website's monthly report.

Otherwise, we only share your information with a third party when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Requests that do not lead to a contract are kept for up to twelve months, then destroyed. Client files are kept for the periods required by tax obligations.

Cookies

For now, the website uses no audience measurement or advertising cookies: nothing is placed in your browser to track you, and no Google, Meta or TikTok tool is loaded. That is why no banner asks for your consent.

If we ever add one, for example to measure an ad, a banner will ask for your consent before anything is turned on, by category: audience measurement, advertising and third-party content. Refusing will be as easy as accepting, and you can change your mind at any time.

The website also keeps one technical setting in your browser, with no tracking: the animation of the footer signature (for the length of your visit). It is never transmitted.

Social media

The Facebook link and the Google Maps directions link lead to those platforms. No content from these platforms is embedded in our pages: the links place no cookies until you click them. Once there, their own policies apply.

Security and incidents

The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to requests is limited to the people who need it. If a confidentiality incident presents a risk of serious injury, we notify the people concerned and the Commission d'accès à l'information.

Your rights

You can ask to access your information, to have it corrected or removed, to receive a copy of what you gave us in a structured, commonly used technological format, or to withdraw your consent. Write to info@slextermination.com or call 514-634-0026. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
