Wasp nest removal and flying insect control
Montreal, Laval and the South Shore
A wasp nest under the soffit, inside a wall or near the deck is not a DIY job. Wasps attack in groups and sting more than once. Our technicians take out the nest safely and quickly, even in an emergency.
Every summer, as soon as the heat sets in, wasps build nests in yards, roofs, sheds and trees across Greater Montreal. A nest that fits in your hand in June can house hundreds of wasps by August. And the later in the season, the more aggressive the wasps get.
For children, pets and people with allergies, a nest near where people come and go is a real danger. Trying to remove it yourself, with a can of insecticide or in the middle of the day, often ends with multiple stings and a nest that's still active.
Where wasps build their nests

Under roofs and soffits
The most common spot on a house: sheltered, warm and quiet.

Inside walls
A hole in the siding is all it takes. Hard to reach, and the nest is often bigger than you'd think.
Nest in a wall or soffit
In the ground
Ground-nesting wasps are especially aggressive when someone walks near the nest entrance.
Ground wasp nest
Trees, hedges, sheds and garages
In plain sight or hidden, these nests are often close to where the family comes and goes.
Hornet nestSigns there's a nest
The sooner you spot the signs, the simpler the treatment.
- Wasps constantly flying in and out of the same spot: a corner of the roof, a gap in a wall, a hole in the ground
- A visible nest under the eaves, in a tree or in a shed
- More and more wasps around the table and the outdoor garbage bins
- Buzzing inside a wall or ceiling
- Wasps inside the house when no window is open
How we work
A proven method we've used for over 20 years, adapted to each building.
Finding the nest
We find the nest and assess its location, its size and the level of risk to occupants.
Safe elimination
We go in with the right protective gear and registered products, at the right time of day.
Removal and follow-up check
When possible, the nest is removed and the area checked to make sure activity doesn't start up again.
Prevention
Advice to limit nests next summer: openings to plug, food and garbage to manage.
Residential, commercial and industrial

So the problem doesn't come back
- Check soffits, eaves and sheds in early summer, while nests are still small.
- Plug holes in the siding and openings in the soffits.
- Keep outdoor garbage bins closed and don't leave sweet food outside.
- Don't plug the entrance to a nest inside a wall: the wasps look for another way out, sometimes into the house.
Frequently asked questions
Can't find what you're looking for? A technician answers 24/7.
Call 514-231-1615Can you come in the evening or on the weekend?
Yes. Our service runs 24/7, and late in the day is often the ideal time to treat, once the wasps are back in the nest.
Wasp, hornet or bee?
Bees are useful: for a swarm of bees, a beekeeper is usually the right person to call. Wasps and hornets, on the other hand, are a danger around homes, and we take care of them.
How much does wasp nest removal cost?
The price depends on where the nest is, how easy it is to reach, its size and the level of risk. Call us for a free quote.
