Raccoons, skunks and squirrels
Noises in the attic at night, a skunk smell under the porch that won't go away, a squirrel nesting in the roof space: wild animals move in fast in the city. We capture them safely, remove them in line with Quebec rules and close the door behind them.
Raccoons, skunks and squirrels are more and more common in residential neighbourhoods in Montreal, Laval and on the South Shore. Smart and opportunistic, they look for safe shelter, easy food and a quiet place to raise their young: an attic, a soffit, a shed, the space under a porch.
Once they've moved in, they do real damage: torn-up roofing, ruined insulation, chewed wires, odours, droppings. Trying to drive them out yourself is risky, especially if there are young ones. Our technicians use safe cages suited to the animal, then remove the animals in line with Quebec rules, with respect for safety and animal welfare.
What each animal does to your home

Raccoons
They rip off shingles and soffits to get in, go through garbage bins and move into attics to give birth.

Skunks
They dig under porches, sheds and foundations, and leave a stubborn smell that's very hard to get rid of.

Squirrels
They move into the attic, chew electrical wires and wood, and make constant noise in the morning.

Signs an animal has moved in
The sooner you spot the signs, the simpler the treatment.
- Footsteps, scratching or movement in the ceiling or attic, especially at night or early in the morning
- Lifted shingles, a torn-off soffit, a hole in the siding or a vent screen
- Tipped-over garbage bins and a dug-up garden
- A lingering skunk smell, even with no animal in sight
- Droppings, debris or disturbed insulation in the attic
- A hole dug under a porch, a shed or a slab
How we work
A proven method we've used for over 20 years, adapted to each building.
Inspection
We locate the animal, the way it gets in and the damage it has already done.
Safe, suitable cages
We set cages designed for each species, in the right spots.
Removing the animal
The animal is captured without putting occupants at risk, then removed in line with Quebec rules.
Sealing entry points
We show you which openings to repair and protect so another animal doesn't take its place.

Can't find what you're looking for? A technician answers 24/7.
Call 514-231-1615What do you do with the animal once it's caught?
It's removed in line with the applicable rules, with respect for the occupants' safety and the animal's welfare.
Can a raccoon be dangerous?
Yes. It bites and scratches if it feels threatened, especially a mother with her young, and it can carry parasites and disease. Don't try to catch or corner it yourself.
Do you do roof repairs?
We find the entry points and tell you exactly what needs to be repaired or protected to prevent another intrusion.
